Cancer Genomics and Bioinformatics

The Laboratory of Cancer Genomics and Bioinformatics was established at the Italian Institute of Genomic Medicine (IIGM), and at the Department of Biosciences of the University of Milan "La Statale." The lab activities cover three main topics: 1 - Alternative splicing: to understand the regulation of "splicing" in diseases; 2 - Cancer evolution: to evaluate the genetics and evolution of tumors for faster precision oncology; 3 - Data Science: to design new algorithms to derive information from genomic Big Data
